A small game that fought to get out of my mind.

I was able to implement the first piece of the economy.
A future iteration would show a more elaborate one in the spirit of early Anno titles.

When picking up a treasure bear in mind the size of your ship.
Here there is a limit of two units. Each day you'll eat an unit of bread. If you have no more in stock the ship becomes uncontrollable. But fear not the wind will keep you moving -- if the weather allows.

An elaborate economy would have wood workers two either increase the size of your ship.
Or build you another one to increase your fleet.

Since the game in this shape was built in two days I could only include a first piece.

Hey, this looks like a nice game, but, I'm sorry, I don't understand how to play it. The arrows themselves do nothing and when I click on "Hoist the sails!", the treasure and the boat are suddenly at a completely different location (seemingly unrelated to the selected direction arrow). Could you please explain it a bit more?

Sure.

So the arrows point towards the general direction you want to steer the ship. So long as you have bread. Now you could have wind in the opposing direction or coming from a side and therefore changing the trajectory.

That the treasure jumps is right. I wasn’t finally sure whether I want to have it stay in one position for long.

Oh Ok, thank you, in that case I was not as wrong as I thought. I'll try again ☺️

I’m eager to receive feedback. Actually, how the wind plays out is something I kind of happy with. Maybe it would need better telepathing?

That switch case is awesome 😆
